Come winter, the whole city of Delhi gets draped in a heavy layer of smog and nothing of late seems to ward it off. Of course, if everyone stopped polluting the atmosphere, then, maybe Delhi would not be that bad come December. But that is not going to happen given the economic drive that has gripped the whole country. From north to south, new factories are opening up and like clockwork each and every factory seems to be adding tons of harmful gases to the atmosphere, and it is so bad that even the Taj mahal could not take it and it has started to lose its white color and is slowly but surely turning gray. Soon we may all have to call it 'the grey mahal'.
