How do you plan to spend the next new year??

This new year has finally arrived and I hope that all of you did have a fantastic time partying away the last year.Anyway this is the advisory for last year and since it is still relevant this year as well, not just for the new year, but for all activities and parties, please do read on!

The time to celebrate the New year is almost on us and it is that time of the year when we all tend to go a bit crazy. That may be fine, for those of us who are single or without children. But for those of us who do have children, the way to ring in the new year is to do it safely and without much alcohol as possible. I can never understand why one needs to drink alcohol at a party, since alcohol tends to cause a person to feel a bit depressed and drowsy after some time, why bother drinking it all.

I can very easily imagine the chorus of voices shouting out, 'what, a party without drinks? you must be mad'. If at all, you need to drink in order to celebrate the arrival of the new year, then try and do it responsibly and most importantly, do not drink and drive.

For those of us who have children, it is better to think of our children first and party later. There are some of us who tag our kids with us to these parties, just remember that it is way past their bed time and that the atmosphere at a party is not the right atmosphere for any kid, with all that smoke and smell of booze floating around.
There are places that one can take ones kids with them to celebrate the new year, you can take them with you to the Elliots beach, of course there will be a crowd, but there are also huge sections of the beach that will be empty.

And come New year, there will be a fireworks display and the kids will love that. So for dinner, you can go to the Beach castle restaurant on the Elliots beach and have dinner, then from the terrace of the restaurant or the beach itself enjoy the fireworks display with your kids!
