Singapore-ever lovely!

Singapore,a small city but one of the cleanest cities in the world over.it is even cleaner than most of the superpowers.singapore is unique in every aspect.for a traveller to our singapore,it should not take more than 5 days to take all the aspects,sights and wonders of singapore.singapore is also home to a very uniqie zoo,a visit to which should not be missed at any cost.
Singapore may seem a bit costly to the everyday tourist but take my word for it,it is worth every penny or paisa that you spend there.it is also one of the most harmonious multi cultural cities of the world which gives a whole new meaning to the word 'urabn'.
you would also find kiosk's of every kind at every street corner of singapore.later on,this month i shall also be posting here my opinins on ertain places in singapore.until then,happy travelling!
as an additional note,Singapore Airlines is one of the best ways to travel with!

LAX -closes over sprinkler bomb scare!

LAX one of the most modern airports in the world today had to close because of a suspicious pipe in a bag.which by the way after an examinaiton by the bomb squad was found to be a part of a sprinler pipe.so one can literally say that "LAX's daily routine was sprinklered on!"
as a result of this scare,LAX shut down certain parts of the airport and made the passengers go out onto the tarmac while they were investigating this matter.what i cannot understand is that LAX is one of those airports with all these high tech equipment which if they had used correctly would have given them the requisite details about the pipe.so they could have avoided shutting down a part of the airport.It certainly made travel by plane a nightmare for many!anyway it is better to be safe than sorry!

Amelia Earhart - still a mystery!

Even today amelia earhart still is a mystery.no one knows what really happened to her.one day she flew into the mist and thats all that was wrote.it is almost like she disappeared in to the mist.there have been numerous conspiracy theories about her disappearence including alien abduction to the bermida triangle.but she still remians a mystery. The movie on this woman was equally enthralling but one can only wish that it had the right conclusion to it all. The art of disappearing ionto thin air seems to have been perfected by Amelia because in the end that is what she did.

And now this mystery woman is having an exhibiiton of sorts,all her personal items of hers, opened in Oklahoma City museum.so if you are there,do drop in and say a big hi to Amelia Earhart- the woman of mystery!

Northwest Airlines - no longer poor?

Northwest airlines,after many,many months of reorganisation finally got the nod to come out of the bankruptcy protection into the highly competitive "dog eat dog" world of airlines.will it survive?of course it may but then again it may not.it all depends on how well it is run from now on!
of course,as a way of compensating and trying to lure more customers away from other airlines,the Norhtwest airlines may start announcing some lucrative packages for their customers!so do keep an open eye for that!

by plane than train!

These days we all have a premium on our time and we all need to get somewhere fast.more often than not we travel for business purposes rather than pleasure.but whatever it is for,these days there are many options to travel by compared to the yesteryears.these days the passenger fare on a plane is almost the same as that of the train.whats more it is faster by plane,the journey time shorter and more importantly,it is actually quite comfortable!
thank god for the low cost passenger planes with thier slashed prices and all that!finally we can say thanks but no thanks to the railways!
